Eileen McGowan is the Owner and Principal Consultant of Ascentra Advisory Group, a consulting firm dedicated to helping executives in space, satellite, and video distribution navigate change and improve business outcomes.
With more than 25 years of experience in the space and satellite industry, she has a talent for taking big corporate goals and turning them into practical plans that work. She has led multi-million-dollar international projects, created new programs to protect customers' businesses, and led teams through change. She is a recognized leader and trusted advisor known for empowering cross-functional collaboration and positioning organizations, people, and programs for maximum success.
Eileen's unique, blend of skills in regulatory analysis, forecast and business case modeling, strategic problem solving, and executive and client communication provides her clients with custom solutions and genuine partnership that meet their specific needs.
Eileen is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University and Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy, has served in various roles on the boards of Women in Aerospace (president & programs chair) and Space and Satellite Professionals International's Mid Atlantic Regional Chapter (president, treasurer & golf chair), and is the recipient of the SSPI Promise Award. She has earned her Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
When not at work, she can be found at various dog parks around Alexandria, Virginia, with her two Sheepadoodles, Lola and Piper.
